Any business or individual who wants exclusive rights to a brand name, logo, or tagline and the ability to stop others from using something confusingly similar. Worth doing as soon as a mark is in real use, not after a competitor has already registered something close to it.

Documents required

• PAN card and business registration proof (or ID proof for an individual applicant)
• A clear image or text version of the mark you want to register
• The list of goods or services the mark covers
• Proof of first use, if the mark is already in use (invoice, packaging, website screenshot)
• A signed authorization letter (Form TM-48) so we can file on your behalf

Process & timeline

1. 01Search and clearanceWe check the trademark register for identical or confusingly similar existing marks before filing, so you know your realistic odds upfront.
2. 02File the applicationWe prepare and file Form TM-A with the Trademark Registry under the correct class of goods or services.
3. 03ExaminationThe Registry reviews the application. If they raise an objection, we draft and file the response within the deadline.
4. 04Publication and registrationOnce cleared, the mark is published in the Trademark Journal for opposition. If no one opposes it within the statutory window, the registry issues the registration certificate.
